    • By far the best bit of Race Retro was the live rally stage featuring cars from the 70s and 80s being put through their paces. Some cars were driven more enthusiastically than others and the stage was a bit mickey mouse, but it was nice to see a few getting wrung out - especially the mark one Escort driven by Bjorn Waldegard.

    • Not only does the Civic Type R go well, it sells well too - beating off stuff like the Astra VXR and Focus ST in the sales charts. Honda chickened out from saying how many 5-door Golf GTIs got flogged, but still, I reckon the more Type Rs revving around the nation's B-Roads the better.

    • Renault has just announced as special edition version of the Espace with sat nav called Argos. Not too sure if they have a chav-friendly catalogue shop of the same name in France, but if they did... I reckon this is what they'd come up with.
